Become a Volunteer

St John Ambulance volunteers play a vital role in communities throughout Western Australia.

Coming from all walks of life, volunteers may be parents or retirees, full-time, part-time or shift workers, even students. No matter what they do, it's their generous contribution that helps us maintain essential services right around the state.

You too can help make a difference in your community by volunteering. There are roles to suit all types of people, so you can be involved at a time and in a position that suits you.

Volunteer Ambulance Officers

First Aid Volunteers

First aid volunteers are a regular presence at many of Western Australia’s local and major events, including the Perth Royal Show and Lotterywest Skyworks, offering first aid assistance and safeguarding the health of the community.
